Born in Oregon, Peggy Sue has enjoyed a dynamic journey along the West Coast and even internationally before joyfully returning to her roots in the Pacific Northwest. With an English major under her belt, Peggy Sue began her professional path as a teacher’s assistant for middle school ESL students whilst studying at University. Her legal career took off as a law librarian at the Palo Alto, CA office of Cooley LLP, an American international law firm known for its diverse practice areas including corporate, litigation, intellectual property, and more.
A pivot to a sales and marketing role for computer and telephony systems in Bay Area law firms sparked a deep passion for technology and innovation, particularly within startup companies. Despite various roles over the years, Peggy Sue has always cherished her time in the legal profession, leading her to where she is today.
Outside of work, volunteering is a cornerstone of Peggy Sue’s life. She has provided on-site training of best practices with WSU’s Small Acreage program at her organic ranch and participated in services for trauma survivors.
For relaxation and recreation, Peggy Sue enjoys hiking with her dog, especially to waterfalls, voraciously reading historical fiction and non-fiction, gathering with friends, exploring new food cart options, and finding any excuse to host a celebration.
