Born in Portland, August moved back to Oregon in 2018 and completed a bachelor’s in biology at the University of Portland in 2021 with the hopes of becoming a medical doctor. Amidst the pandemic, he reevaluated his career path and decided to switch trajectories – completing a second bachelor’s degree in computer science. His passion for tech has grown over the last three years, where he has had the pleasure of completing multiple software engineering internships and other projects as a freelance developer. Notable achievements include developing installer programs to streamline medical claim data conversion and implementing advanced data manipulation techniques to provide clients with insightful financial analysis.

In his free time August enjoys all sorts of crafts, mainly crocheting and knitting custom clothes and plushies. When the PNW sun decides to shine, he enjoys going on camping trips and long runs.
