Last week, some of our attorneys attended Campaign for Equal Justice’s Annual Kick-Off Gala!
CEJ is an organization established by Oregon lawyers with the mission of making equal access to justice a reality for all Oregonians. Over the last 30 years, CEJ has raised more than 30 million dollars in its annual fund drives. CEJ’s efforts and their legal aid supporters make a difference for low-income and elderly Oregonians all across the state, and work with lawyer volunteers and bar organizations to increase state and federal funding for legal aid, as well as serving people with critical needs such as food, shelter, and medical care.
McKean Smith’s very own Sonia Montalbano assisted as an emcee of the donation drive, encouraging donations to support this important organization.
