This week, McKean Smith’s Vancouver office had a very special visitor – Hazel from Northwest Battle Buddies. Hazel is currently being fostered and will soon be a loving companion to a combat veteran with PTSD. The organization strives to empower veterans by partnering them with professionally trained and specifically matched service dogs. Not only is it an incredible service to our veterans – the back story of the organization is a wonderful tribute of a daughter to her veteran father.
