MKS attorney Deanna Rusch has been selected as an honoree for DJC’s Women of Vision for 2021! WOV is the region’s preeminent recognition and educational program that supports the women who are shaping the built environment with their technical skill, leadership, mentoring, and community involvement.
Deanna is highly respected within the legal community of SW Washington and recognized for her poise in court, knowledge of the law, and trial experience. However, her tireless advocacy for her clients extends beyond the courtroom and into the communities of Vancouver and Camas as well. Deanna served and represented the citizens of Camas as City Councilperson from 2017-2019 and currently serves as one of the district 4 Charter Review Commissioners. She gives back to the community through various local organizations such as the Downtown Camas Association to help support, grow, and preserve the community’s history, economic base, and overall success. She also serves on the board of the Camas-Washougal Community Chest and is a member of 100 Women Who Care Clark County, both organizations that raise money for local non-profit organizations. And when she’s not serving her human community, she’s serving our furry friends as co-president of the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society.
