After earning her J.D. in 2017, Alixanne worked for a private law firm in Yakima, providing legal support for the firm’s agriculturally based clientele on a wide variety of issues. Following her experience there, she worked as a prosecutor in Yakima County. Working in this division led to Alixanne’s interest to creative, long-term solutions for otherwise difficult situations. She brings to McKean Smith an adaptable approach to her cases: She is just as comfortable in front of a judge litigating a case as she is in her office writing up contracts. Alixanne’s background growing up in a small, farm-based town gives her an approachable demeanor; while some clients might feel intimidated or not so comfortable with attorneys, Alixanne’s straightforward and reasonable approach to her cases help her clients feel secure that they are in the right hands.
When she is not in the office, Alixanne enjoys spending time baking for her husband and two sons, spending time snuggling her three dogs, Dotty, Felix, and Maisie, and nerding-out by buying and adding to her ever-growing Pokémon card collection.
